The food was amazing! Pankcakes were super tasty and so was that OJ. Parents love this place and said it's a must try again. Coffee was also spot on. Bacon was a 10, super delicious and the eggs were good, just how you would expect them to taste. Potatoes could use a little work, not bad but not good. The Ambiance is tiny but looks really cool. Service was also great, just how it should be. Overall a 4.5 out of 5, would definitely come back!

Open after the hurricanes! The blue dolphin is a reliable breakfast and lunch café on Saint Armand Circle in SARASOTA. We have been here several times over the past three decades. Although the businesses on the circle are really hurting since the hurricanes, the Blue Dolphin is open and offering up tasty warm food, plenty of coffee, and a good spirit for anybody who is out for a stroll or beach bound in Sarasota. Come support them!

Great diner right in the heart of St Armand's Circle! The French toast is my fave! The service is quick and very good.

Hubby and I visited the cafe on Longboat Key before. They opened another one here at St Armand's Circle. Here, the cafe is a lot smaller. We figured, why not try it? We came here twice for breakfast. We shared the Lox and bagel platter on the first day, plus two eggs and a fruit plate. On the second day, I had the Huevos rancheros, and Hubby had eggs and ham. The breakfast was good, but we both thought the lox and bagel were a joke because of how small the lox was served with the bagel. My Huevos rancheros were ok but lacked some ingredients, such as salsa. However, the overall experience wasn't bad; it was not what we expected compared to the original Blue Dolphins cafe. The service was excellent!

We were looking for a breakfast before hitting Lido Beach and ended up in the Blue Dolphin. Place was almost full but we managed to get a booth just before they started taking names for a waiting list. The breakfast menu is standard fare, to be conservative we stuck to the Blue Dolphin special - 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, bacon and home fries. A young man was working the booths and he kept busy taking orders, delivering food and refilling coffee cups. Breakfast came out quickly and it was good. We finished and vacated as the line was growing outside....decent place if you're in St Armand's circle - it's a solid breakfast spot.

Great little breakfast spot off of St Armand's circle. Was first time in area so looked to my trusty yelpers for advice and you delivered. Tiny spot but awesome little diner breakfast spot. No tables so we sat at the counter which was great. Pretty standard diner kind of menu although much smaller. Service great, food great, good chatting vibe at the counter with other patrons and the staff. Great way to start off the day.

We walked into the Blue Dolphin on a Saturday, and it seemed like the perfect spot for brunch. We were seated right away at a booth (for a party of two). The waiter was quick to take our orders. We got corned beef hash, fruit, blueberry pancakes and a breakfast wrap/burrito with home fries. The blueberry pancakes were fantastic! We ate every bite. No crumbs left. The corned beef hash was just okay. It needed to be crisped up a little more. This dish needed improvement. The home fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. The breakfast burrito was solid, and I added some hot sauce to give it an extra kick. We were happy with our meal! It was a good brunch and just what we wanted to start the beach day. I would recommend coming here.

Great start to another gorgeous day on Lido Beach with Mario, serving us with a chuckle! Blue Dolphin is a local favorite and easy to see why. Food was hot and good! We had an omelette, corned beef and hash, Eggs Benedict and French Toast for the little one. I bet we'll be back.
